Jamie Nichols, Ph.D.
Background
In the fourth grade, Jamie played middle linebacker in the pee wee football league. He lasted four weeks. Some of those kids had to be older than 10!
Jamie Nichols leads the genetic diseases division at Relay, leveraging our understanding of protein motion to build the comany’s portfolio of transformative medicines for patients with genetically defined diseases. Prior to Relay, Jamie was chief operating officer at Warp Drive Bio, where he led corporate, platform and product strategy, business development, intellectual property and program and portfolio management. Previously, he served as president, chief operating officer and board member at Resolvyx Pharmaceuticals. Prior to Resolvyx Pharmaceuticals, Jamie was vice president of therapeutics at CombinatoRx and a consultant at Braun Consulting.
Jamie holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and was a Helen Hay Whitney postdoctoral fellow in neuroscience at Stanford University Medical School. He holds a B.A. in philosophy from Columbia University.
