Imogen Pryce, Ph.D.
Background
Imogen was once an aspiring professional ultimate frisbee player. Unfortunately, her height and her clumsiness squashed her dreams of making it to the big league. She does, however, still play on the weekends.
As COO of R&D, Imogen Pryce manages all operational aspects of R&D, from budgeting to recruiting to program and portfolio management, with a focus on optimizing the value of the portfolio. Prior to joining Relay Therapeutics, Imogen worked in corporate strategy at Shire Pharmaceuticals. There, she managed and contributed to multiple projects ranging from whole company initiatives to targeted efforts within specific therapeutic areas and functions.
Prior to joining Shire, Imogen worked at Boston Consulting Group, where she was a leader in the healthcare practice area. She advised senior client teams on a number of topics, including corporate strategy, M&A due diligence and R&D portfolio prioritization.
Imogen holds a B.S. from the Ohio State University and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the California Institute of Technology.
